Tierra Adentro: the meeting point of ecotourism in Andalusia

We have just passed September, the month of “back to school”, and we are in the midst of the season of beginnings. This is the season of collections, new projects and marking fairs and conferences on the calendar.

For those of us who are dedicated to tourism, the year is full of important dates. Perhaps the most renowned fair in the program is FITUR, due to its international nature. But there are many others that, although on a smaller scale, are equally interesting. If we talk specifically about internal or nature tourism, the first appointment, as it could not be otherwise, is Inland.

And what is this about?

Once again, the event is held in Jaén, capital of oil tourism and inland tourism. This year, in addition, the XVI Inland Tourism Fair of Andalusia It has a special meaning: the increasing commitment of Andalusian tourism to sustainability. A hot topic in 2017 (yes, we know you already know it, but it's not bad to remember it), International Year of Sustainable Tourism.

From October 27 to 29, the Jaén Provincial Fairs and Congress Center (IFEJA) will host a large selection of internal tourism proposals in Andalusia. A tremendously important sector in this community; since, in addition to its cultural wealth, Andalusia has the largest number of protected spaces in Spain.

Inland It is a great opportunity for professionals in the sector to make themselves known and present their projects and innovations in terms of cultural, rural, gastronomic tourism, etc. In addition, the general public will also find a wide range of all types of nature activities in Andalusia.

And, as expected, we will be there; sharing the experience with other travel bloggers who have been enchanted by Andalusia, like Patricia Rojas (The Cosmomoth), Fernando Chacón (from the blog Tourist), Paco Becerro (from Lazy Blog) and Javier Hernández (hanway), along with 390 other companies dedicated to sustainable and inland tourism.
